Copper Shot (Cu)
These are copper granules with a granulometry between 0.2mm and 2mm from the recycling of cables by mechanical shredding in our facilities.
This shot is used for various applications, mainly in copper, brass, and bronze foundries.
Its copper purity varies between 98% and 99.7%. Based on this, RMD markets two products:
Millberry Copper Grit
Description: Electrolytic copper wire shot, a mixture of fine and thick gauges (minimum 0.2mm and maximum 2mm). The chemical purity of copper is 99.9% minimum.
Applications/Uses: For Foundries to obtain ingots, wire rod or other derived products.

Copper Shot 98
Description: Copper wire shot mixed with fine and thick calibres (minimum 0.2mm and maximum 2mm). The chemical purity of copper is 98%, and it may contain brass and/or tin flakes.
Applications/Uses: For Foundries to obtain ingots, wire rod or other derived products.

Aluminium Shot (Al)
These are aluminium granules of a size up to 2 mm from the recycling of cables by mechanical shredding in our facilities.
The technology used to obtain this shot has been developed by RMD over 17 years of experience.
This shot is used both in primary aluminium foundries and in refineries for secondary aluminium alloys.
Given its purity in aluminium, it is often used to purify alloys (purity in aluminium: 99.5%).
Aluminium shot
Description: Aluminium grit mixture of fine and coarse calibres. The minimum aluminium content is 99.5%. It is served in bulk or in BigBag bags of 1,000kg and 1,500kg approximately.
