Aluminium profile
RMD has developed a specific technique for purifying scrap profile. These are pieces of aluminium extrusions, mainly from the 6063 series, chopped to a size between 12 mm. and 80mm.
Its high yield in the furnace and its proximity to the 6063 alloy make it a coveted product both in foundries of extrusion products and in refiners of secondary alloys.
Depending on its aesthetic surface treatment, lacquered or unlacquered, RMD distinguishes two products with the following name:
Lacquered aluminium
Description: Anodized profile bars, obtained by extruding an aluminium block. The material has a size greater than 12 cm and less than 80 cm.
Applications/uses: For Foundries to obtain ingots or to obtain final aluminium products.
ISRI code: Aluminium extrusions TAINT-TABOR
